Treegens Retire $MGRO
Network: Base

Review the evidence.
Retire with care.

Two separate things happen on this page. Step 1 is reviewing planting evidence, which anyone can do without a wallet. Step 2 is voluntarily retiring MGRO, which only opens when the token contract passes an automatic on-chain check.

Checking canonical MGRO…Transaction controls remain off until the Base contract and issued supply are verified.

Retirement does not reduce the ERC-20 contract's reported total supply and does not itself pay a planting crew. Wallet use is for adults 18+. One detailed review appears before any transaction. Do not acquire lookalike tokens.

Current status

Canonical MGRO retirement is not open

You can review planting evidence now. Reviewing evidence, funding with TGN, and retiring or claiming a record are three separate actions. Retirement stays closed until issued supply is visible on Base.

The intended outcome is a public Base record that your wallet sent canonical MGRO to the published dead address. Evidence is in Step 1. Warnings stay in the page notice and in the review that opens before any wallet request.

Go to the retirement step

Readiness checklist

  • Planting evidence is reviewableStep 1 is open to everyone. No wallet is required.
  • Safety pause is in placeTransaction controls stay hidden until the on-chain supply check passes.
  • Canonical addresses are publishedEvery contract this page uses is listed below with an explorer link.
  • Canonical MGRO contract on BaseChecking the published token contract on this visit.
  • Issued supply greater than zeroChecked on this visit. Retirement stays closed until this read is greater than zero.
  • Claim inventoryClaim cards stay hidden until the supply check opens retirement.

Verified completed steps

  • Evidence review publishedBefore and after footage, a checklist, and an honest "no published decision" state.
  • Contract rows match the source-of-truth constantsCopy and explorer links are on this page. No security audit result is published.
  • Approval cannot auto-continue into redeem or payAny later live action still stops after approval and asks for a separate review.

Remaining blockers

  • Retirement and claim controls stay hidden until this visit verifies a non-zero canonical totalSupply().
  • Do not acquire lookalike tokens. Transaction controls appear only after canonical issuance is independently visible on-chain.
  • No public date is published for the next issuance. The next milestone remains a verified non-zero supply on the listed MGRO contract, plus inventory if a claim is offered.

Last update: this readiness view was edited 18 August 2026, 19:10 AEST. The page re-checks the Base contract on every visit.

  1. Review planting evidence Watch the before and after footage and work through the evidence checklist. No wallet, no connection, no cost. Go to the evidence review
  2. Retire MGRO, if it is open A separate, optional, irreversible action that sends your own MGRO to an address nobody can spend from. See retirement readiness

Funding a planting with TGN is a third action on its own section. It is not Step 2, it does not retire MGRO, and it does not claim a video record. Go to TGN funding

What this page checks before it lets anyone retire MGRO

On every visit the page reads the Base blockchain without a wallet and without sending anything. It asks two questions: does the published MGRO contract exist, and does it report any issued supply. If either answer fails, the retirement controls are not rendered at all.

Retiring means sending tokens to an address that has no known private key, so they can never be spent again. It is not an ERC-20 burn call, so the contract's reported total supply does not go down. It is not a payment, a donation receipt, or proof that a tree was planted.

No security audit result is published on this page, so do not read anything here as one. Contract addresses are listed below so you can check them yourself on a public explorer.

Step 1 Review planting evidence. No wallet needed.

What the evidence shows

This is the sample planting record published on this page: Plot 01, filmed before restoration and again after planting, with an automated tree-count overlay laid over the second clip. Watch both clips, then work through the checklist. Retiring a token does not create, prove, or pay for a planting.

Before, raw plot footage
Before restoration Plot 01, filmed by the planting crew before any planting starts. This clip is the baseline you compare the second clip against. It carries no count and no overlay.
After, with automated tree counting
After planting, count overlay applied The same plot after planting. The boxes and running number are produced by an automated counting pass over the video, not by a human tally. Treat the number as a machine reading to check, not as a verified total.
Stitched clip, what a claimed record plays
Both clips joined, plus the record card If a planting record is ever claimed, this is the format it plays: the before footage, the counted after footage, and a card identifying the record. Nothing here is generated by a token transfer.

Evidence checklist

Work through these before you trust any count. Ticking a box is a note to yourself. Nothing is saved, sent, or shared, and no tick changes what the page will let you do.

Reviewer decision

No published decision

This page carries the media only. It does not carry a verifier's accept or reject decision for Plot 01, so none is shown. Planting submissions are reviewed by verifiers in the Treegens verification app, and this page does not read that result.

Location

No map is shown. The copy of this record stored with this page does not include coordinates, and inventing an approximate location would be worse than showing none. Where a live planting record supplies its own place name, that name is printed on the record card in the sections below.

Claim A separate claim action. Not part of evidence review.

Claim a planting-video record

When canonical MGRO is issued and claim inventory is available, a signed voucher can pair an exact MGRO retirement with a non-transferable planting-video record. The retirement does not itself pay a planting crew.

Claim rail is closed

This is not the evidence review and it is not TGN funding. No claim form is shown while issued supply is zero. Inventory cards appear here only after the on-chain check opens retirement.

If approval is needed, the site requests only the exact price. After approval confirms, it stops and asks you to review and separately confirm the irreversible claim transaction.

TGN A separate funding action. Not a retirement.

Fund a tree planting with $TGN

When inventory is available, review a planting record and request a live $TGN quote. The checkout contract is configured to route 95% to the planter and 5% to the verification pool; verify the exact transaction in your wallet.

How this rail differs

TGN funding pays a live checkout quote toward a listed planting record. It does not retire MGRO and it does not claim a video record. Transaction controls appear below only when inventory is listed.

Quotes hold for 10 minutes while the record is reserved. If approval is needed, it is capped at the quoted price; payment always requires a later, separate review and wallet confirmation.

Step 2 A separate, optional action

Voluntarily retire MGRO

Retiring MGRO is not part of reviewing the evidence above, and reviewing the evidence does not commit you to retiring anything. This optional step sends tokens you already hold to the published dead address.

This panel is not a form right now. Canonical retirement is closed. See the readiness checklist above for blockers, official links, and the notify option. The connect and amount controls stay hidden until issued supply is verified.

What retirement means

When this rail is open, the factual outcome is a public Base record that your wallet sent canonical MGRO to the published dead address. Limits sit in the page notice and in the pre-transaction review, not in every card.

An on-chain retirement record

A direct retirement records that your wallet sent canonical MGRO to the published dead address. That public transfer is the outcome this page is for.

Hold a planting-video record

When the claim rail is ready, an eligible retirement can mint a non-transferable rMGRO video record. Availability and source evidence are shown before any wallet request.

Public activity summary

The on-chain table derives retirement totals from public Base logs. Wallet addresses and transactions remain publicly visible.

Make tokens unspendable

Tokens sent to the dead address are treated as inaccessible. The page notice and the pre-transaction review state the supply and payment limits in full.

A public, irreversible record

Confirmed Base transactions cannot be reversed by this site. Verify the token, amount, network, destination, and fees in your wallet before signing.

And your Treegen's mind lights up

The Treegens Dynamic NFT metadata service is intended to represent a wallet's lifetime retired MGRO as mind-light stages. These examples illustrate the mapping and are not a promise of marketplace behavior.
